Welcome! This guest information covers the basic essentials of your stay. If you have any further questions please contact Management for further assistance, please follow the camp rules to help ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.
Accommodation Choose your own camp site, first in best dressed rule applies unless in a situation stated by Management. Guests are prohibited to set up camp under any of the large gums on the property, please refer to signage located around the property.
Arrival/Departure Check in starts from 08.00am the day of your scheduled arrival, Check out by 4.00pm the day of your scheduled departure. If you would like to change any of your booking details’ please contact Management to discuss further.
Amenities These are located alongside the Camp Kitchen. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times. Please be considerate of others when using these facilities and leave them in a clean and tidy condition. Facilities are cleaned daily; cleaning times are displayed on the information board at the entrance of the amenity block.
BBQ area Guests have access to BBQ’s located at the Camp Kitchen. Please leave the area clean and tidy after use and please note that the indoor and outdoor Camp Kitchen fire places are not for cooking with.
Bicycles Please only use bicycles during daylight hours and observe all road rules, including wearing helmets and necessary protective gear. Children must be supervised at all times.
Camp kitchen The Camp kitchens is available for use by all guests. Please be considerate of others when using these facilities and leave them in a clean and tidy condition.
CCTV Please be aware that surveillance cameras are used within the property.
Dump point A dump point is available for the use of guests. You can find the location of this on the map. Dump point is for black water use only. Grey water is to be spread around trees and grass areas. Dumping of regular 20lt cassettes is included in your camp fees. Please do not empty waste into any amenity blocks.
Emergency assembly point For the safety of all guests, we ask thatyou familiarise yourself with our emergency assembly area (at the Camp kitchen), which you can see marked on the property map. In the case of an emergency, please stay calm and follow the instructions from Management.
Fires Open fires are permitted only be lit in designated fire pits already structured around the property, including portable ones and charcoal BBQ’s. All fires are to be supervised by an adult at all times. Fires are to be completely extinguished before leaving any fire unattended and/or going to bed. Please ensure a bucket of water is readily available. NO fires a permitted-on days that a ‘Total Fire Ban’ is issued and/or the wind is above 10mph.
Generators The use of generators is permitted in two hour intervals, only between the hours of 09.00am until 5.00pm.
Laundry Washing of clothes, linen or other items is prohibited in the Camp Kitchen and Showers.
Motorbikes No unlicensed motorbikes maybe ridden in the property or surrounding areas. Please check with the local council for designated riding areas and rules.
Noise Please be respectful of our neighbours and other guests on the property by minimising noise from TVs, music and social gatherings between the hours of 10.00pm and 08.00am.
Pets All pets must be kept on a lead at all times, restricted to owners camp and under control. Walked on a lead and cleaned up after in the camp ground. Pets are prohibited to be left unattended or enter the Camp Kitchen under any circumstances.
Rubbish All areas are to be kept clean and tidy. Rubbish needs to be tied in a plastic bag before disposing of it in the bins provided to keep the flies and ants at bay. Please separate glass, tins, cardboard and plastic for recycling.
Security While Management tries their best to ensure a safe and secure environment, it is recommended that you secure your valuable items for extra peace of mind.
Smoking Please note that smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes are not permitted in any amenities or common areas.
Speed limits All roads on the property are shared by pedestrians and vehicles. For this reason, speed limits are restricted to 10km/per hour which equates to walking pace at all times.
Tour/information point Information about tours and activities available in the area are located at the Entry/Exit gate and in the Camp Kitchen. You can also check on the Broken Creek Bush Camp website for any upcoming events. Management is happy to assist with any queries you may have.
Visitors Please be aware that any visitors that you invite to the park must adhere to the properties condition of entry and will be the responsibility of you the guest. Visitors must not arrive before 08.00am and be offsite by 10pm.
Wildlife Please don’t feed any of the wildlife as human food can be detrimental to their health and behaviour.
